Again spent the night in their crates successfully! I went to bed a little earlier, so Daz woke me up around 5:45 whining. Took them both out and they peed and pooped immediately. Then back in, into the crates and settled back in for the last 1/2 hour until Mike got up.
Good puppies! Off to see Dr. Joanne this morning.

Fun evening!
Pups went to the BRAG building this evening to watch a class. They had fun and met lots of new dogs and people! We even had a child who played with them.
Ten weeks old tomorrow and off to see Dr. Joanne for their micro chips and for Vettel's Health Certificate. He's leaving us so soon! : (
As always, lots more photos on Picasa!

Crating success!
Little darlings spent the entire night (or at least from about 1:00 when I went to bed till 6:30 or so when Mike got up!) in their crates. Not a peep out of them all night. I stayed downstairs on the sofa and set their crates next to it so they could see and hear me. With previous pups I have sometimes had to stick my fingers through the door to comfort them if they cried, but these guys were angels. Let's hope it continues. Tonight be be a breeze again, or it could be another story entirely. Well see!

Not a great start to (another) rainy Monday
Pups have been being crated individually for car rides. They are eating out of separate bowls, each shut into their own crate. I have put them in their crates for short periods while I ran errands during the day. We need to move on to being crated at night, rather than together in the pen. To further that cause, I had Mike put them their crates when he left this morning, so they would be back to bed for a couple hours in crates.
The screaming started almost immediately! Tried ear buds with music and pillow over head, but no more sleep for me! Had to wait out the screaming fit though, so as not to reward it. I was pretty sure I recognized which voice it was, but will not mention, to protect the not so innocent. <g>
When after over an hour it finally got silent, I came down to let them out. ONE puppy (one has to assume the screamer) had a poop blow out in the crate. So pups go out to the back yard while I clean out crate. ICK! Then someone got their first bath. Five pounds of struggling, wriggling, screaming, wet Podengo baby is NOT easy to hold on to!
And how did YOU start your week?
