Why "Bob"?

I'm being asked, "Why 'Bob' as a puppy name, even for a girl?" Many of you already know, but I am a BIG Columbus Blue Jackets fan. The CBJ are Columbus' NHL team. Yes, now you know, I love hockey.  I decided early on that a boy puppy in this litter would be "Bob", for our wonderful new goalie, Sergei Bobrovksy, known as, "Bob".

This season with the CBJ was a downer in many ways, but our bright spot was Bob! He was an NHL star of the game 4 times this season (which because of the strike was a very short season) and  won the 2013 Vezina Trophy, for Best Goaltender of the year, as determined by the NHL General Managers.

So, that's why "Bob" as a name, but why for a girl too? Just because I like the name and have only one puppy coming! <g> Besides, there are worse monikers for a pup to start off with than "BOB". 

It's that time again!

Meet "Bob" (below). Fada and Spinner are pleased to announce they are expecting a bouncing baby Podengo. We are expecting to welcome Bob on or around June 26. Please stay tuned for news!

Favorite spot

Daz's very most favorite spot to hang out these days while I am working is between the space heater and my desk!

Though snuggling on the recliner with the other girls remains a close second!

Daz has been doing her very first agility class. We are taking a handling class that Lianne is teaching. It is just jumps and tunnels, but we played on the dog walk and A-frame awhile after class tonight.

Fighting it!

Poor little Daz so resists napping. I think she is afraid she'll miss something.

New bed!

The girls all stayed at Lianne and Andy's over Thanksgiving and fell in love with their new dog beds. So we needed to get them their own.

 Daz loves it!

But Havoc says he has seniority!
