Today he arrived. Not all as planned (see previous entry), but healthy and happy, so far.
More photos of him here. HUGE thanks to my friend and vet, Joanne Buehner and the rest of the staff at Greenmeadows Veterinary Hospital and my wonderful friend, Pam Williams. Pam was there through the whole thing to keep me calm, or at least try. : ) C-section pups are often slow to get going, and Bob was no exception. Through it all the doctors and techs and Pam worked diligently to get the little guy breathing and keep me from freaking out.
Sounds like it was quite the ordeal, but also sounds like he is fine now and he and Fada will be just fine. He is just absolutely adorable. Congrats! Coming from a breed where C-sections are pretty much the norm, it is never easy whether there is 1 pup or more than 1. Can't wait to see how he progresses. He sure is precious now, again Congrats. Kathy and Marco.
